Let's use this wiki page to plan the VEMA sharing for our December meeting.
List any sessions that you'll be sharing about.....that way we can be sure that we don't all come ready to share about the same topic.

Since I was lucky in attending a number of very worthwhile sessions at VEMA, I thought that the most helpful way to share would be to highlight a few of the great ideas from several sessions. Please be sure to let me know if you are going to discuss any of the following sessions in detail. Then I will just focus on other sessions so that we don't overlap. Sessions I plan to share include:
  • Trends and Topics by the Dozen
  • Making the 2008 Elementary Connection
  • Web 2.0 and Education: Did I Miss Web. 1.0?
  • Cornucopia of Books
  • Ideas to go with Nonfiction
  • Copyright and Soundaboundz
  • So Many Great New Books, So Little time!

I would be happy to talk about Data Disaggregation - the sessions were packed! Audrey Church gave a very well organized presentation.

I will be sharing information from Digging Ancient Greece and Rome, Hot off the Presses-What's New in Using Literature to Teach Economics and Science in the Library?Absolutely!
